“Joana was so sweet and welcoming. It was such a treat to bake in her beautiful home. Definitely added to the experience. The pastéis de nata stole the show, however. They were even better than the first ones I tried in Lisbon at the iconic Manteigaria. So, that’s saying something. I would recommend this activity to anyone if you’re visiting Porto. The day started off at the Mercado do Bolhão with Ana, where she gave us a thorough explanation of the ingredients we’d be using for our meal.
