“We had a wonderful walking tour of Porto with Tiago. He brought Porto’s history to life while walking through the city. He brought a personal touch to the tour with lived experience of the city and gave an insight into what makes Porto unique. Would highly recommend the tour for getting to know the place. An added bonus is the recommendations given by Tiago of the restaurants and places to visit which he sent across after the tour and have been great for rest of our visit.”

Torre dos Clérigos ticket in Porto: 225-step climb for baroque views, plus Clerigos exhibits. Skip the line for about $11.

“It was more than just about climbing to the top of the tower. The museum levels provided history into the making of the tower and its builder. Once at the top it was a great view of Porto. I recommend visiting the tower early as there was no line up to get in and it wasn’t too congested at the top. Our entrance was 9:30am. My only recommendation would be to have a separate access for climbing up and exiting.”

“There was some confusion about the logistics of the morning pick-up, but once all eight passengers were in the van, our guide Ivo (pronounced "E-vu") took charge and provided us all with a smooth, interesting, and tasty day-long tour. He assessed our enthusiasm and instead of stopping at a truck stop for a potty break he took us to the beautiful medieval town of Amarante with their specialty pastries. All the aspects of the day were memorable, the wine and port tastings, the boat ride, the stunning landscapes, and the delicious, authentic lunch of cuzinha tradicional. “One of the Best Tours I’ve Done in Europe – Truly Outstanding! This was without a doubt one of the best organized tours I have experienced in Europe. From the very first moment, everything felt professional, structured, and perfectly coordinated. The team wore official company uniforms, which immediately gives confidence and shows the high standards of the company. The mini bus was modern, spotless, and extremely comfortable — it felt brand new. You could tell that quality and maintenance matter to them. Our guide, Tânia, was absolutely exceptional. Always smiling, full of energy, and incredibly knowledgeable. She explained everything with passion and clarity, making the whole experience eng...”
