He assessed our enthusiasm and instead of stopping at a truck stop for a potty break he took us to the beautiful medieval town of Amarante with their specialty pastries. All the aspects of the day were memorable, the wine and port tastings, the boat ride, the stunning landscapes, and the delicious, authentic lunch of cuzinha tradicional. Oporto Tours was also kind enough to make an unscheduled stop at the Regua…”

Luís Neves was a brilliant guide, very knowledgeable and couldn't be more helpful. We were kept updated on pick up times and collected from right outside our hotel. Short stop at Amarante before heading to our first stop in the Douro valley, where we had a delicious lunch served with three different wines. More wine and port tasting at the second vineyard and then onto a relaxing boat cruise down the river with stunning scenery.”
