“The view is great. No need to add to repeat what other wrote but there are some small issues that can be improved. Here some examples 1. The night before the tour got a message that the tour was changed and the train ride was cancelled instead we would visit stores. We had no time to change the tour. 2. After two hours of drive without a stop we board the boat with a single tiny toilet for 20 people. Not fun. Need to have a body call stop before 3. After the complete day we had to wait more than 15 minutes to the van. It could be better…”

“If you are looking for a tour from Regua, this is your answer. This was a fantastic tour. We were looking for a tour that left from Regua where we were staying, and could only find them leaving from Porto. Then we found this. It was an intimate tour with only 8 people. The tasting at Quinta dos Mattos was really great. They gave us more tasting than advertised and the surprise was a 40 year Tawny Port that was amazing. “Plus: wine and port tasting was very interesting, with explanations from Helena and a chat with Isabella (her jams are +++). The lunch was excellent and the owner very friendly. Minuses: no guide to explain the history of the region, our driver friendly but shy (perhaps language barrier ...). On the boat not too many developments / train: nice ride but we could have taken boat and train independently of the excursion by ourselves. Value for money not very well balanced.”
